MAP Recertification Eligibility

A certified staff member is eligible to recertify if they are in good standing on the MAP Registry. MAP recertification consists of training and evaluation required to maintain an active MAP certificate, which is valid for two years from the date of issuance or last recertification. Participants may begin the recertification process up to 90 days before the current certificate expires and up to one year after expiration in accordance with MAP policy. The new recertification expiration date will be two years from the last day of the month in which the recertification was issued.

For full details, see the Massachusetts MAP Policy Manual (most current revision): https://www.mass.gov/doc/map-policy-manual-final/download.

Note: Recertification training typically takes 3–4 hours. Our trainers offer flexible scheduling and are available to support you through the recertification process. Please contact us with your preferred date, and a member of our administrative team will follow up to complete the required processing and scheduling.

Note: If you have more than four people to sign up for the class, please reach out directly to proceed
