1. MAP CERTIFICATION Materials:

The training cost does not include the cost of the state exam. See below for your State discounted exam cost unless you are employed with a State-funded company. Materials needed for the course are:
- One Resource packet ($6.96)
- RIA Curriculum ( $10)
- Computer with camera ability
- Wi-Fi & Mouse
This packet is developed by certified MAP trainers and long-term pharmacy solution inc. This resource packet is a combination of the Responsibility in action book (RIA), transcription materials to use for practice, Med pass scenarios to practice during the course, Med book, count book, two blister packs and cups. This packet is geared toward the specific needs for staff to get certified under the Medication Administration Program. The book meets all MAP requirements and is approved to be used for the course training and for the preparation of the state exam.
The material is included with the training cost and materials are shipped out before the course start date.
2. MAP RE-CERTIFICATION RESOURCE PACKET
This resource packet is developed by certified MAP trainers. This Re-certification resource packet is a combination of transcription and med pass materials to use for recertification. This packet is a combination of transcription workbook, Med pass scenarios, Med book, count book, blister packs and med cups. This packet is geared toward the specific needs of certified staff to get re-certified under the Medication Administration Program. The materials meet all MAP requirements and is approved to be used for recertification testing and preparation for the class.
The material is included with the training cost and materials are shipped out before the course start date.
3. COUNTABLE CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE BOOK
This controlled substance documentation book is developed by certified MAP trainers. It is geared towards the specific needs of staff certified under the Medication Administration Program. The book meets all MAP requirements and is approved by the Department of Developmental Services and the Department of Mental Health. This hardcover book consists of 3 sections: An Index: 10 pages with clearly printed lines, for making 32 entries per page. The Perpetual Count Section: 220 pages, with space for 23 entries per page. The Count Verification Section: 110 pages, with space for 36 entries per page.
